Learning Options

An ideal free coaching session for self-directed beginners to reinforce their learning either from a Beginners Bridge book and/or excellent free interactive learning software (both of which we can provide). The 45 minute session will endeavour to respond to students' questions as well as reinforce their learning of the Standard American bidding system and basic principles of card-play. Students are invited to stay on for the Improvers mini-lesson that follows and then play in the supervised session after that. The latter allows slower play and opportunity to discuss the bidding and play during and after the hands.

All beginners are welcome, but please let David Farmer (ph 0415 715 743) know in advance that you are coming. A player finding themselves unexpectedly without a partner will paired up if possible at the time. Tea and coffee is provided. Please arrive a few minutes before the starting time.
