Submit a Bridge Challenge

This Help - Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) item provides guidance on submitting a bridge play or bidding challenge for the Learning Hub. This is simply a special case of submitting an article - and then choosing to place it in the Learning Hub | Bridge Challenge category.

What makes it special is that in addition to the normal article authoring (see above FAQ link) you will probably want to include a bridge hand and bidding in your article. There are two ways that you might want to do this.

Approach 1 - Using a mono-spaced font

Simply select a mono-spaced font such as Courier New for, and only for, the paragraphs that contain the hand and the bidding - this will make it easier to line up the suit holdings and the bids - every character or space will take exactly the same horizontal spacing.

Approach 2 - Using the Bridge Layout tool

This little Excel spreadsheet based Bridge Hand Layout tool allows you to enter a challenge title, the dealer, vulnerability, the hands and the bidding and some brief notes in a simple but attractive layout. Once entered you can capture the layout as an image (assuming you have an image capture tool available) and then insert the hand as an image in your article.
