Publishing Event Results

This Help - Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) item provides an overview on how a bridge club can publish the results of their bridge events on the site.

The best way to publish event results is to use the bridge results publishing service offered by Milica Pty Ltd/bridge-club.org. This service:

• Integrates with ASE and most popular bridge scoring programs to allow the bridge results to be  uploaded to the web as part of the score up process (provided the scoring computer is connected to the internet and configured appropriately)
• Allows upload of the session hand record
• Provides a superior display of the session results that allows players to delve into their results on individual boards
• Is a reasonably priced commercial service. 

While this web results display service is separate to and completely independent of Bridge-Game.Info, BGI can display the results under the venue menu (eg see Peninsula and Manly Leagues's display). We can assist a club wishing to set up this service.

Alternately a club can choose to upload their event results directly to the site, using, for example, an electronic results file produced from their scoring program. This approach would generally be similar to submitting a news item  together with inserting a link to a file you upload.
